Actually, probably weird. I don’t own any make up. I think the only thing i own is a thing of mascara and it sits in the purse i never use, never being used. so… true facts, mars doesn’t wear make up. ever.

…Can we talk about the internalized misogyny here for a moment please? This post is just another example of a woman saying “I hate women,” thinking it makes her a feminist, or perhaps just a special snowflake. It doesn’t. It makes her a misogynist. 

The whole makeup = only to impress others thing is not only bullshit, it caters to the stereotype that women only know how to — and are only fit to — cater to their betters (ie, men and everyone who isn’t them). How is that an ok assumption? Maybe the person in question, man OR woman, just likes to wear makeup? In many cultures, ancient and modern, makeup was the MAN’S prerogative! And since when was enjoying the pretty things in life make someone more-or-less empty-headed, or even less feminist?

That’s like saying someone who wears sweet lolita isn’t interested in equality. That’s utter crap. So ladies and gentlemen and people across the gender spectrum, do yourself a favour, and stop judging - be it yourself or others. Makeup isn’t the source of all evil, nor is it its calling card. Misogyny, however, makes a good case for that claim.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with wearing make up. It’s just a preference. While I myself rarely ever wear make up (I only ever really wear make up during dance performances) but I don’t see anything bad about the actual act of wearing make up. 

I like wearing makeup but I don’t wear it everyday, but when I wear it I like wearing it.

I haven’t work makeup since i was 12. Even then it was only for a short while because other girls pressured me into it
